To mark the 75th anniversary this year of the formation of the Rotary Club of Northallerton, Barkers Department Store has kindly offered the use of its front window next to Boots for a special display of the Club’s character and activities. Boards and photographs describe the Club and typical projects run locally and internationally to help other charities and support those in need.
The display was revealed on Friday 29 July and will remain in place for the first two weeks of August. The Rotary Club is very grateful to Barkers and to their skilful window dressers Fiona and Stela for bringing the display to life in style, and to Imprint Services of Anchorage Lane for the quality printing of the display items.
The window display will complement the Rotary Club’s Summer Fiesta to be held on Saturday 13 August in Northallerton Town Square in front of the Town Hall. Look out for the blue gazebo with Rotary markings, where there will be live music, games and a tombola from 9 am to 4 pm.
